Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Laden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brad Uhler!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laden throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Uhler fails in his attempt to clinch.
Laden shoots for a double leg takedown but Uhler sprawls well. He's pushed Laden's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Uhler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Laden with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Uhler to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Jack Laden has been cut.
Uhler lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Uhler.
Laden circles away from the clinch attempt.

Uhler takes the fight into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Uhler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Uhler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Uhler tries to close the distance and clinch but Laden swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Uhler steps into range and cracks Laden with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Laden flops backwards and Uhler dives into his guard looking to finish!

Laden is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Oh Laden is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Uhler wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Laden's closed guard. He's half up but Laden has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Laden pivots and extends the arm, Uhler falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Laden! Well done that man!
