Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hasan Husin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kane Klasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kane Klasky!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klasky tries to clinch there but Husin circles away.
Klasky tries a head kick but it misses.
Klasky shoots and misses

and Husin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Husin throwing shots but Klasky is blocking nicely.
Still in half guard, Husin seems content to control.

Husin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Klasky has managed to free his arm - good work.
Klasky is pressing down on Husin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Klasky is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Husin is aware though and is defending well.
Husin is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Husin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Klasky looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Klasky looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Klasky!
Husin tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Klasky easily slips into full mount!

Husin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Klasky moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Husin has worked his arm free - good work by Husin!
Klasky lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Husin throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Husin tries to control but Klasky manages to take his back.
Husin has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Klasky.
Husin tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Klasky lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Husin hang on?

Klasky prevents Husin from getting the reversal.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Husin prevents any damage by holding on tight.
Husin is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Klasky lands with some strikes.
Husin is trying desperately to improve position.
Klasky is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Husin tries to lock up and control but Klasky gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Husin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Klasky has picked Husin up and slammed him! Husin can't keep hold of the triangle and Klasky manages to pass to side control!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Hasan Husin will probably get the nod.

Husin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Husin lands in his opponent's guard.

Klasky throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Husin escapes and throws Klasky's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Klasky wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Klasky throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Husin is looking to take a break and control but Klasky is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Klasky tries to buck Husin off but Husin is having none of it.
Klasky is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Klasky has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Husin escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Husin!

Klasky takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Husin controls the position from side control.
Husin lands a decent elbow from side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Klasky tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Husin presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Klasky can't escape the position.

Husin is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Klasky to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Klasky shrugs it off.

A big strike lands for Husin! That's really hurt Klasky and he's turned his back - Husin keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Husin jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
