PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Niklas Stauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Mazaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stauer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8d7OBluielc. Mazaro is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hed Pe - Raise Hell. Mazaro has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazaro walks into a left hand.

It looks like Ivan Mazaro has been cut.
Mazaro looks gassed!
Stauer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mazaro pinned against the cage. Mazaro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Stauer misses with a head kick.
Stauer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mazaro moves out of range of the body kick from Stauer.
Stauer throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mazaro.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stauer throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Mazaro is rocked!
Mazaro is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Stauer Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Mazaro is out cold, face down on the mat!
