Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nanaki Yotomishi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Gentry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yotomishi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gentry's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Yotomishi wants to control from the top but Gentry keeps moving.
Yotomishi won't allow Gentry to sweep him here.
Yotomishi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Gentry misses the body punch
and Yotomishi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Yotomishi moves in looking to clinch but Gentry pushes him off.
Yotomishi takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Yotomishi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A telegraphed right hand from Gentry misses the target.
Yotomishi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gentry's waist but Gentry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Yotomishi off to one side.
Yotomishi throws a head kick that Gentry semi-blocks.
Yotomishi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Matt Gentry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yotomishi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gentry paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gentry looks to land a left hand but Yotomishi moved out of range nicely.

Gentry rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Yotomishi makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Gentry really felt that one!

Yotomishi looks to land a combination. Gentry sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Yotomishi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Yotomishi shoots in but no luck this time.

and Yotomishi counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Gentry wants a takedown but no success here.
Gentry goes for a takedown attempt but Yotomishi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
