PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yamato Damashii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denilson Braga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damashii comes into the arena with Ciemna Strefa blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Damashii fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Braga to the ground. Damashii is now in Braga's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Damashii's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Damashii seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Braga for as long as he can get away with.
Damashii has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Braga tries to reverse the position but Damashii maintains control.

and Braga counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Damashii is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Braga moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Braga takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Damashii closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Braga quickly recovers to half guard.

Damashii manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Braga on his heels. He'll look to pass Braga's guard now, I'm sure.

Braga is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
