Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rolls Royce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mr Jiu Jitsu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Rolls Royce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mr Jiu Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Royce scores with a takedown into Jiu Jitsu's guard.

Jiu Jitsu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Royce defends well.

Jiu Jitsu looking for a sweep. Not yet Jiu Jitsu, not yet.

Jiu Jitsu looking for subs off his back but Royce has passed one foot through into half guard.
Royce prevents Jiu Jitsu from improving his position.
Jiu Jitsu is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Jiu Jitsu is looking to get back to full guard here but Royce has managed to pass to side control instead.

Jiu Jitsu is trying to get back to half guard.
Royce cracks Jiu Jitsu with a big right hand but Jiu Jitsu just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Royce works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Royce lands a few punches from side control.
Jiu Jitsu is not content to let Royce control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jiu Jitsu is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jiu Jitsu tries to roll over but Royce keeps him under control.
Jiu Jitsu gets back to full guard.

Royce stopping the sweep attempt from Jiu Jitsu.
Royce will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jiu Jitsu trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Royce throws a big right hand that misses.
Jiu Jitsu is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Jiu Jitsu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Royce gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jiu Jitsu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Royce doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Royce manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jiu Jitsu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jiu Jitsu wants to control but Royce is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Royce is working for a kimura but Jiu Jitsu is defending it quite comfortably.
Royce trying to mount his opponent but Jiu Jitsu defends it.

Royce is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jiu Jitsu sees it coming and defends easily.

Jiu Jitsu is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Royce pulls his head out easily.
Royce trying to control from half guard but Jiu Jitsu is working away.
Jiu Jitsu is trying to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jiu Jitsu wants to improve his position but Royce is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Rolls Royce will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Royce tries to clinch but Jiu Jitsu moves away

and Jiu Jitsu counters with a nice double leg into side control. Royce won't be happy with that.
Royce is trying to control Jiu Jitsu's posture but Jiu Jitsu avoids it.
Jiu Jitsu wants to control but Royce is keeping him busy.
Jiu Jitsu cracks Royce with a big right hand but Royce just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
You can see the frustration on Royce's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Royce is not content to let Jiu Jitsu control the position.
Jiu Jitsu working away.
Jiu Jitsu creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Royce sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Jiu Jitsu advances to mount.
Jiu Jitsu lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jiu Jitsu looking to control but Royce is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Royce keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Mr Jiu Jitsu has got the better of the ground game so far.
Royce is in a horrible position here. Jiu Jitsu smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Jiu Jitsu is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Royce has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Royce!

Royce's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Jiu Jitsu has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Royce can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Jiu Jitsu is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Royce is aware though and is defending well.
Royce passes Jiu Jitsu's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Royce is controlling the pace.

Jiu Jitsu is looking for a sweep. Royce is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Royce working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Royce looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Jiu Jitsu is refusing to be controlled, as Royce sits in half guard.

Royce is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Jiu Jitsu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Royce's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Royce's back!
Royce tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Jiu Jitsu is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Royce to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Royce shrugs it off.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Royce is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Royce can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Jiu Jitsu showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Royce moves to clinch but Jiu Jitsu breaks away

and Jiu Jitsu counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Royce is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Jiu Jitsu has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Royce should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jiu Jitsu has tightened it up now! Royce should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
