Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Atep Putra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Gouveia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putra comes to the cage accompanied by Indonesia Raya. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Putra gets tackled into the cage by Gouveia. Gouveia maintains the clinch.

Gouveia pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Putra tries to keep at a distance but Gouveia has taken the fight into the clinch.

Gouveia jumps guard and drags Putra to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Putra thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Putra drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gouveia looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gouveia looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gouveia!
