Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JoJo Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Hopkins could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to JoJo Parker's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker gets caught flat footed, as Hopkins shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hopkins pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Parker is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hopkins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hopkins throwing strikes from guard but Parker blocks nicely.

Hopkins is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Hopkins drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hopkins jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hopkins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hopkins passes Parker's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Hopkins is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hopkins is working for a kimura but Parker is defending it quite comfortably.

Hopkins takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Parker is not content to let Hopkins control the position.

Hopkins wants to work for an arm triangle but Parker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Hopkins is looking for a kimura but Parker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hopkins to get the leverage.

Hopkins with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Hopkins is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Parker is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
