Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorgio Chiellini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Chiellini's choice of entrance music: Riders on the strorm. Hannibal King has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King is looking to land body kicks.
King misses with a takedown attempt
and Chiellini counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
King doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Chiellini holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Chiellini has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics King uses from the top position.

King postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Chiellini is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of King, into his guard.

King is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Chiellini really doesn't want to stay on the ground with King. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Chiellini lands a couple of decent looking shots.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chiellini accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

King is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Chiellini wanted to stand there but King had control of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chiellini avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

King is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chiellini defends well.

King not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chiellini is working King over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
King keeping moving, preventing Chiellini from controlling successfully.
Chiellini pushes down on King's leg and manages to get into half guard.
King regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Chiellini.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King has one foot on Chiellini's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Chiellini darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Chiellini is looking to take a break and control but King is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Hannibal King will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

King avoids the head kick by Chiellini.
Chiellini tries a head kick but it misses.

King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hannibal King overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

King thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

King is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Chiellini is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Chiellini has escaped and now he's on top!

Chiellini stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! King throws up his legs and catches Chiellini in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Chiellini tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by King! That came out of nowhere!
