Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Desmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Desmond is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Never Miss a Beat. On his way into the cage it seems that Jack Christian has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jack Christian seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Desmond slips a jab and a cross from Christian.
Desmond works Christian's body with a nice hook.
Desmond lands with an overhand left.
Desmond avoids the body shot from Christian.
Desmond scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Christian is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Desmond.
Desmond just misses with a punch to the body.
That kick from Christian tenderised Desmond's leg. Desmond is trying to keep his angry face on.
Christian ducks under a wild hook from Desmond.
An inside leg kick lands from Christian.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Desmond.
Christian throws a low kick, looking for Desmond's leg but Desmond calmly moves out of range.
Christian lands with a shot to the body.
Christian stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Christian wants it to stay on the feet.
Christian scores with a hook to the body. Desmond takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Christian lands with an uppercut that bounces Desmond off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Erik Desmond has been cut.

Christian lands a big right hand that sends Desmond crashing to the mat! Christian stays standing though and waves Desmond back to his feet!
Desmond takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Jack Christian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Desmond stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Christian.
Desmond gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Christian gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Desmond is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Christian!
Jack Christian decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
