Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gypsy Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Neguera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gypsy Jiu Jitsu has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gypsy Jiu Jitsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fabricio Neguera!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Patrick Alders and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jiu Jitsu.

Neguera closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jiu Jitsu manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Jiu Jitsu seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Neguera got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jiu Jitsu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Neguera has managed to get both his arms back between Jiu Jitsu's legs - danger averted.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Gypsy Jiu Jitsu will probably get the nod.

Jiu Jitsu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Neguera manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Neguera is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jiu Jitsu is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jiu Jitsu has escaped and now he's on top!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gypsy Jiu Jitsu.
Well Jiu Jitsu has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
