Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Riordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nafes Alhangum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riordan takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Riordan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alhangum as he jumps to the side.
Alhangum pushes Riordan away with a front kick.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Alhangum. Riordan shrugs it off though.
A combination from Alhangum does no damage.
Riordan shoots in looking for a takedown. Alhangum tries to sprawl out of it but Riordan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alhangum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Alhangum looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Riordan shoots for a double leg takedown but Alhangum sprawls well. He's pushed Riordan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Alhangum shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Riordan eats them both and turns towards Alhangum to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Alhangum is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Riordan pulls his head out easily.

Riordan lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Alhangum quite badly. Alhangum pulls Riordan in close trying to recover. Riordan postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Alhangum on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Alhangum doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
