Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilia Kosarev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolfe is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by If You Want Blood. Scott Wolfe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ilia Kosarev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfe looks for a takedown but Kosarev sprawls well.
Kosarev fails to land the takedown.
Kosarev shoots in for a takedown but Wolfe shows good takedown defense.
Wolfe tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kosarev paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kosarev shoots in and gets a takedown into Wolfe's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kosarev working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kosarev postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kosarev throws an elbow that misses. Wolfe uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kosarev's guard. Nice move by Wolfe!
Kosarev can't keep his opponent in guard - Wolfe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Wolfe throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Kosarev to regain full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wolfe trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Wolfe decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Wolfe scoring well with a low kick there.
Kosarev shoots in looking for a takedown but Wolfe manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kosarev's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ilia Kosarev. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kosarev shoots in but Wolfe avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kosarev is breathing heavily.
Wolfe lands a head kick. Kosarev smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Ilia Kosarev has been cut.

Wolfe pushes Kosarev up against the cage in a clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kosarev can't get the takedown.
Kosarev tries for a takedown but Wolfe manages to get underhooks.
Wolfe pushes Kosarev back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Wolfe is stalling here.
Kosarev keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wolfe's efforts to push away.
Wolfe tries to break free but Kosarev pushes him back against the cage.
Wolfe lands a nice uppercut.
Wolfe with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Wolfe lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Wolfe manages to break the clinch.
Wolfe cracks Kosarev with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Wolfe lands a glancing blow to the side of Kosarev's head.

Wolfe fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Oooooh!!! Wolfe has knocked Kosarev down with a huge combo! Wolfe steps away and waves a wobbly Kosarev back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Kosarev is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Wolfe changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kosarev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Oh Kosarev is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wolfe controls the position from side control.

Wolfe has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Wolfe Throws a clean left jab. Wolfe Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Kosarev's chin! Kosarev crumbles to the ground and Wolfe follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Wolfe!
