The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kershick misses with a left hand
and David Green counters with a nice uppercut.
Kershick slaps away a takedown attempt from David Green, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kershick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but David Green moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
David Green has a takedown stuffed.

Kershick throws a leg kick but David Green moved away.
Kershick misses with a looping right.
David Green gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kershick.
Kershick throws the left hand but David Green avoids the punch easily.

Kershick throws a hook to the side of David Green's head but David Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
David Green tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Kershick manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kershick. David Green does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kershick walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. David Green checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Kershick throws a nice looking combination but David Green bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kershick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
David Green has managed to clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
David Green tries for a takedown but Kershick manages to get underhooks.
David Green has had enough of the clinch but Kershick keeps him there for the moment.
David Green wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kershick has him pressed against the cage.
Kershick wants to stall.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kershick drops David Green onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! David Green is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Kershick can't find room to land a body shot as David Green controls the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ed Kershick dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kershick misses with a double jab
and David Green counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Oh David Green is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kershick connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends David Green to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Kershick!
