Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taba Tabashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marvin Perez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Taba Tabashi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Perez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tabashi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Perez is in Tabashi's guard.
Perez postures up in Tabashi's guard and throws a big left but Tabashi blocks it.
Perez is looking to work some ground and pound but Tabashi has wrist control.
Tabashi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Perez is controlling him.
Tabashi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Perez postures up in Tabashi's guard and throws a big left but Tabashi blocks it.
Perez tries to free his leg and advance position but Tabashi is retaining full guard.
Perez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Perez cracks Tabashi with a solid left hand.
Perez prevents Tabashi from getting back to his feet.
Perez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tabashi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Perez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Perez lands in his opponent's guard.

Marvin Perez is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Marvin Perez has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Tabashi's corner calls for a 1-2. Tabashi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
