Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike McCallum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steven Dillon!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCallum looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dillon is fending him off so far but McCallum persists. Nope, Dillon circles away and we're back to standing.
Dillon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A big right from Dillon misses.
Dillon takes a swing at McCallum's ribcage but misses.
McCallum ducks under a wild hook from Dillon.
Dillon looks to land a right hand but McCallum moved out of range.
McCallum throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dillon was covering up waiting for the punch and McCallum finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
McCallum works over Dillon with some ground and pound from guard.
McCallum working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dillon wants to stand but McCallum is controlling the position.
McCallum advances to half guard.
McCallum passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dillon!
McCallum will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dillon wants to get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's one minute gone in the round.
McCallum pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dillon can do anything to dispel that myth.
McCallum lands with some strikes.
Dillon is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McCallum postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Dillon out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! McCallum goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
