Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 1, fighting out of London, John Thomas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Filippo Miragliani!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miragliani bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thomas's head backwards.
Thomas moves out of range of the strikes.
Thomas misses with a wild body shot.
Thomas takes one to the side of the head.
An inside leg kick from Miragliani misses.
Miragliani lands with a thumping leg kick.
Thomas lands a body shot.

Miragliani gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Thomas pulls Miragliani into guard.
Thomas has a closed guard, preventing Miragliani from standing up.
Thomas has control of Miragliani's left arm, preventing Miragliani from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Miragliani is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Filippo Miragliani wasn't active enough on the ground.
Thomas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch but Miragliani swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thomas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miragliani tries to avoid it but Thomas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miragliani to the ground. Miragliani escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Miragliani misses with a wild body shot.
Filippo Miragliani is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thomas takes one on the button.

It looks like John Thomas has been cut.
Miragliani finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Miragliani scores with a jab to the body.
Miragliani doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Miragliani walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Thomas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Miragliani manages to avoid it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thomas keeps the fight on the outside.

Miragliani lands a big head kick that sends Thomas tumbling to the mat! Miragliani takes a step backwards and waves Thomas back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Thomas is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thomas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Oh Thomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
and Miragliani counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Thomas! He's just covering up as Miragliani starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

After the fight, Filippo Miragliani was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
