Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alonzo Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppo Turma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turma has chosen Slipknot - Psychosocial as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Turma.
Harris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Turma rushes Harris and presses him up against the cage.
Turma working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Turma lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Harris backwards.
Turma throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Turma misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Turma lands an elbow inside that Harris shrugs off.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Turma.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Turma.
Turma tries for a takedown but Harris manages to get underhooks.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Turma.
Harris is trying to break the clinch but Turma is controlling him.
Turma pushes Harris back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Harris goes for a takedown in the clinch but Turma prevents it.

With the fighters up against the cage, Turma throws an elbow but misses.

Harris is trying to maintain a safe position but Turma gets an underhook and turns Harris into the cage.

Harris has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Harris misses with the head strike.

Harris has Turma pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Harris pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Turma tumbling to the mat - Harris dives into Turma's guard.
Turma not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Harris is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Turma is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Teppo Turma wasn't active enough on the ground.
Harris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Turma as he avoids it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Harris.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alonzo Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Harris takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Harris is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Harris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turma lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Harris takes an elbow to the temple.
Turma lands with a left to the head.
Turma creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Harris's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Harris drops to his knees and Turma pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
