The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yama takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Johnson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Johnson tightens his grip and picks Yama up, before dumping him to the ground. Yama manages to land in guard.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yama. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Johnson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yama has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Johnson has managed to get both his arms back between Yama's legs - danger averted.

Yama has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Oh but Yama is tightening it up a little... Johnson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Johnson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Johnson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Yama!
