Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joshy The Aussie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Bromley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Bromley!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Aussie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bromley but Bromley pushes him off and we're back to square one.

It looks like David Bromley has been cut.

The Aussie shoots in looking for a takedown. Bromley tries to sprawl out of it but The Aussie keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bromley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bromley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with The Aussie but The Aussie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
The Aussie throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

The Aussie is pressed up against the cage. Bromley has hold of a leg and is looking to drag The Aussie down to the mat. The Aussie avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Bromley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts The Aussie as he jumps to the side.

The Aussie wants to stand and escape but Bromley is having none of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The Aussie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bromley is aware though and is defending well.

The Aussie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bromley tries to avoid it but The Aussie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bromley to the ground. Bromley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bromley keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The Aussie dives in and grabs Bromley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bromley pushes down on The Aussie's head and hops out.

That was a close round but I would say that Joshy The Aussie will probably get the nod.

The Aussie is looking to escape.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bromley in particular looking to stall.
Bromley prevents The Aussie from standing back up.
Bromley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks The Aussie with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The Aussie is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bromley scores with a couple of nice shots.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bromley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but The Aussie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The Aussie wants to improve his position but Bromley is controlling well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bromley is looking for a kimura but The Aussie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bromley to get the leverage.

David Bromley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Bromley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
