Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Gillis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gillis comes to the cage accompanied by I Don't Feel Like Dancing - Scissor Sisters. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Tanner!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Gillis. Tanner does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tanner delivers a nice body kick.
Tanner takes one to the chin there.
A big right from Gillis misses.
Tanner gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Gillis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tanner paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gillis misses the jab.
Tanner moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like Jamie Gillis has been cut.
Tanner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gillis tries to avoid it but Tanner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gillis to the ground. Gillis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gillis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tanner on the side of the head.

It looks like Danny Tanner has been cut.
Tanner throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tanner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gillis moves away.

Tanner fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gillis sprawls well initially but Tanner persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Gillis tries to roll over but Tanner keeps him under control.
Tanner scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Tanner seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gillis has his foot on Tanner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tanner works his way back into a safe position though.
Gillis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gillis bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tanner's guard.

Gillis throws a right hand that Tanner ducks under and follows up with a left that Tanner also avoids with ease.
Tanner throws a push kick but Gillis slaps the foot to one side.
Tanner misses with a kick to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Tanner. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tanner.

Tanner lands with a hook. Gillis tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Tanner ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jamie Gillis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by Gillis.

The crowd cheers as Gillis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tanner doesn't seem phased though.
Tanner moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Gillis avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Tanner connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A slow jab from Tanner misses its intended target.
Gillis throws out a loose jab but Tanner uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gillis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tanner manages to avoid it.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gillis.

Tanner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Gillis swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tanner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tanner showed some decent athleticism there.
Tanner is keen to just control but Gillis is a slippery customer.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tanner cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Gillis bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Gillis seems to have got his legs back now.

Gillis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tanner's head.
Gillis passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tanner!
