Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Destruction (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zlapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zlapp throws the kick towards the body but Destruction avoids it.
Zlapp throws a head kick but Destruction moves out of range.
Zlapp throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Destruction tries to clinch up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Destruction enables Zlapp to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Destruction manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Destruction controls Zlapp momentarily but Zlapp frees himself.
Destruction is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Zlapp is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Zlapp throws a strike but Destruction rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Max Destruction has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Destruction shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Zlapp but Zlapp pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Destruction decides to return to a standing position.

Zlapp has Destruction up against the cage in a clinch.

Destruction gets control of Zlapp's arms and successfully pulls guard. Destruction will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

That was a close round but I would say that Max Destruction will probably get the nod.

Zlapp has hold of one of Destruction's legs. Destruction is fighting the takedown attempt but Zlapp gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Destruction has his feet on Zlapp's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Zlapp looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Destruction shoots for a takedown but Zlapp saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Destruction shoots in looking for a takedown. Zlapp tries to sprawl out of it but Destruction keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zlapp manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A frustrated look appears on Destruction's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Zlapp is trying to trip Destruction. He has hold of a leg but Destruction is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Zlapp persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Destruction is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Zlapp is aware though and is defending well.

Well Zlapp has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
