Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kendo Yanar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Lamzak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kendo Yanar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mitchell Lamzak!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yanar closes the distance and clinches up with Lamzak, looking for a takedown. Yanar pushes Lamzak against the cage but Lamzak circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Yanar throws a hook to the side of Lamzak's head but Lamzak sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Yanar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lamzak.
Sloppy strikes from Lamzak. Those never looked like landing.
Yanar misses with a left hand
and Lamzak connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Yanar thows a body shot but no joy.
Lamzak steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yanar.
Yanar lands with a cross.
Yanar with a poor takedown
and Lamzak counters with a three punch combo that has Yanar backing up. Yanar nods at Lamzak to acknowledge the strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yanar is defended easily by Lamzak.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kendo Yanar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yanar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Yanar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lamzak is keeping the position for now.
Lamzak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yanar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Yanar wants to control from the top but Lamzak keeps moving.
Yanar throws a big elbow that misses.
Yanar engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Yanar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lamzak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yanar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lamzak's guard.
Lamzak wants to get back to his feet.
Yanar thows a huge punch but Lamzak dodges it nicely.
Yanar looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Yanar is nestled in close to Lamzak, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Lamzak is looking to escape.
Yanar uses his free foot to push down on Lamzak's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lamzak.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lamzak is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Yanar lands a heavy elbow.


It looks like Mitchell Lamzak has been cut.
Yanar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lamzak can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Yanar fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!


Lamzak is rocked!


That has opened up Mitchell Lamzak's cut even more.
Lamzak is squirming around, avoiding Yanar's attempts to control the action.
Lamzak wants to get back to his feet.
Yanar looking to control but Lamzak is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Lamzak is still in real trouble! Can Yanar finish him?

Lamzak takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Yanar's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kendo Yanar!
An out of breath Kendo Yanar thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
