Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seth Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Stone.
Shaw lands a slapping body shot.
Stone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Shaw.
Shaw feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stone's calf.
Stone throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Stone thows a body shot but no joy.

and Shaw counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Shaw feints and then cracks Stone's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stone down.
Shaw throws a series of punches but Stone moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Shaw feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stone sprawling to the canvas! Stone rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Shaw finish him?!

Stone throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Shaw rushes Stone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Shaw drops Stone onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Stone is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Shaw dips a shoulder and cracks Stone with a mighty uppercut! Stone falls back against the cage and Shaw unloads with a barrage of strikes! Stone is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Shaw screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
