Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Camel !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Barny Bucket!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jorge Garcia and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bucket throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bucket throws a shot to the body.
Camel checks a leg kick.
Bucket connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Camel .
Bucket misses with a head kick.
Camel misses with a leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Bucket 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Camel takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Bucket needs to keep his hands up - Camel had a free shot at his head there.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Barny Bucket seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Camel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bucket as he jumps to the side.
Bucket feints and then cracks Camel 's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Camel down.

Good leg kick by Camel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Camel counters with a straight right hand.
Camel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bucket fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Camel is out of range.

Camel throws a leg kick which misses Bucket's front leg but catches the back leg as Bucket tries to avoid it.
Camel swings for the body but Bucket moves out of range.
Camel throws a solid leg kick but Bucket takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Camel .
Camel shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Camel . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bucket throws a leg kick
and Camel counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Camel on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Bucket walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Camel checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Camel avoids the head kick by Bucket.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bucket.
Camel tries a head kick but it misses.
Camel connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Bucket throws a head kick that misses.
A lazy left from Camel finds it's target.
Bucket throws a leg kick which misses Camel 's front leg but catches the back leg as Camel tries to avoid it.
Camel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bucket doesn't seem bothered though.
Camel lands with an uppercut that bounces Bucket off the cage and back into range.

Barny Bucket is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Camel scores with a jab. Bucket acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Bucket stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bucket goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Camel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Bucket is breathing heavily.

Bucket moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The fighters circle momentarily. Camel darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Camel goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Bucket misses with a few strikes there.

and Camel counters with a right hand to the body.

Bucket walks into a stiff left hand from Camel .
Bucket keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Camel lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bucket keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Camel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bucket pinned against the cage. Bucket gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Camel throws a chopping leg kick but Bucket manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Camel shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bucket is trying to defend but Camel finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Camel cracks Bucket with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Camel takes a swing at Bucket's ribcage but misses.

Bucket tries to sprawl but Camel drives through with a takedown into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Camel stops Bucket from getting back to his feet.
Bucket takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Camel working over Bucket with some ground and pound. Bucket looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Camel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bucket does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Camel wants to control the pace but Bucket is squirming around nicely.

Camel goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bucket is on top in guard.
Camel is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Camel looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Bucket wants to stand but Camel has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Camel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

We're going to have a standup here because Joe Camel wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Camel misses the shot to the body.
Camel does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bucket throws a body kick that misses.
Bucket on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Camel . Camel obviously looking to wear him down.
Bucket's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bucket scoring well with a low kick there.

and Bucket counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Camel is lucky that one didn't land flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Well Camel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
