These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freuster throws a series of punches but Djigurda avoids them all with ease.
Djigurda takes one on the button.
Freuster clobbers Djigurda with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Freuster scores with a shot to the body.
Freuster dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Djigurda's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Freuster connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Djigurda scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Freuster slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Freuster lands a nice shot to the body.
Djigurda looks gassed!
Djigurda doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Djigurda takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Freuster lands a glancing blow to the side of Djigurda's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Freuster lands a big right hand that sends Djigurda crashing to the mat! Freuster stays standing though and waves Djigurda back to his feet!
Djigurda is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Freuster grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Djigurda takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Freuster cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Vydan Freuster!
