Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between El Luan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heroin Venu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Venu throws a lazy right hand but Luan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Venu shoots in but Luan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Luan ducks under a wild hook from Venu.
Luan throws a nice head kick!
Luan looks for a takedown but Venu sprawls well.
Luan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Venu swivels and escapes.
Luan tries to clinch there but Venu circles away.
Luan misses with a few strikes there.
Sloppy strikes from Luan. Those never looked like landing.
Luan tries to clinch but Venu is having none of it.
Luan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Venu circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for El Luan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Venu throws a looping overhand right but Luan ducks down to avoid it.
Luan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Luan shoots for a double leg takedown but Venu sprawls well. He's pushed Luan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Venu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Luan.
Venu shoots in but Luan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Venu throws a front kick aimed at Luan's knee but Luan avoids it well.
Luan looks for a takedown but Venu sprawls well.
Venu lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Venu doesn't manage to clinch there - Luan circles away.
Venu throws a sloppy head kick
and Luan counters with a slapping leg kick.
Luan fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Luan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Venu.
Venu slaps away a takedown attempt from Luan, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Luan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Luan enables Venu to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Luan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Luan is looking to sinch up a triangle. Venu throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Luan's body to avoid the submission. Luan has instead reached around Venu's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Luan arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
