Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sigmund Bjorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Sharpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bjorn comes to the cage accompanied by Slipknot - Wait And Bleed. Sharpe is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Russian Unicorn. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Sharpe. That's going to slow Bjorn down.
Sharpe is looking to chop away at Bjorn's legs.

and Sharpe counters with an outside leg kick.
Richard Sharpe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sharpe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bjorn throws out the jab.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Sharpe - that will leave a mark!

Good leg kick by Sharpe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sharpe has his foot on Bjorn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bjorn works his way back into a safe position though.

Bjorn wants to control but Sharpe is having none of it.
Sharpe misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

It looks like Sigmund Bjorn has been cut.

Sharpe misses with some ground and pound and Bjorn recovers position to half guard.
Sharpe is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sharpe scores with a shot to the body.
Bjorn throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sharpe on the side of the head.
Bjorn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sharpe lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Sharpe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sigmund Bjorn's cut is getting worse.
Bjorn drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Bjorn is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sharpe moves into range and clinches up with Bjorn.
Oh Bjorn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sharpe misses with a punch to the body.
Sharpe lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Bjorn to his knees! Sharpe keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
