PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dog Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Schneider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schneider has chosen LMFAO - One Day as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dog Penn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Max Schneider!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Penn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Schneider slips under a jab.
Schneider uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Penn.
Schneider fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Schneider counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Schneider.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

You can see the frustration on Penn's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Max Schneider comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Schneider winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
