The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckle tries to clinch but Onizuka is having none of it.

Onizuka feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Onizuka is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Buckle to keep the fight standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Horrible takedown by Onizuka or perhaps it was just good defense by Buckle which made him look bad.

Onizuka closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Onizuka lands in his opponent's guard.

Buckle moves into range and clinches up with Onizuka.
Onizuka goes for a takedown in the clinch but Buckle prevents it.
Onizuka is trying to drag Buckle to the mat but Buckle just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Onizuka has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Buckle after a bit of a struggle.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Onizuka accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Buckle fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Onizuka looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Buckle drops Onizuka with a beautiful combination! Onizuka stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Buckle is looking for the KO!

It looks like Eikichi Onizuka has been cut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Look low, kick high! Buckle uses the oldest trick in the book to send Onizuka tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Buckle is absolutely delighted - when Onizuka wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

A relieved looking Horace Buckle thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
