Azhiev closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Son Of Zeus did well to prevent Azhiev getting side control.
Son Of Zeus is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Azhiev decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Son Of Zeus tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Azhiev counters by clinching up.
Son Of Zeus misses with the head strike.
Son Of Zeus misses with a short punch on the inside.
Son Of Zeus swings wildly with an uppercut but Azhiev uses good head movement to avoid it.
Son Of Zeus stops a takedown attempt from Azhiev.
A head punch on the inside from Son Of Zeus fails to land.
Son Of Zeus blocks an elbow strike from Azhiev.
Azhiev pulls Son Of Zeus into guard.
Son Of Zeus postures up in Azhiev's guard and throws a big left but Azhiev blocks it.
Azhiev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
