The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coolidge throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Coolidge looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
Coolidge rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Reggie Coolidge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Antonio Silva has been cut.

Coolidge will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Silva works his way into side control.
Silva is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Coolidge looks calm but he's in trouble here. Silva gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Coolidge is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Silva lets go of the hold and Coolidge can pop his arm back in it's socket.
