Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Longoria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shekan Weeonu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shekan Weeonu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Shekan Weeonu!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weeonu moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Ray Longoria has been cut.
Longoria blocks the body kick.

Weeonu gets the takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Longoria is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Weeonu off and has taken his back!
Weeonu is covering up but some of the strikes from Longoria are getting through and doing damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Longoria is hanging on to Weeonu's back as he tries to escape.
Can Weeonu hold on?! Longoria is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Longoria controlling well, preventing Weeonu from escaping the position.
Longoria has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Longoria punishes Weeonu with strikes from the back mount.
Weeonu is really stuck here.

Longoria is landing with strikes. Weeonu can't take much more of this.
Weeonu takes a big shot to the side of the head.
Weeonu covers up after that shot from Longoria.

Longoria lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Weeonu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Longoria. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Weeonu staying busy and making it hard for Longoria to control.

Longoria has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Weeonu is defending well but eventually Longoria manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Weeonu has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
