Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gubot Lukot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gubot Lukot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blake Perez!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez leaves Lukot with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lukot throws a big shot that misses.

Perez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lukot to the mat! Lukot manages to get full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Lukot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Perez can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Lukot might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Perez wants to control from the top but Lukot keeps moving.
Perez throwing strikes from guard but Lukot blocks nicely.
Perez tries to free his leg and advance position but Lukot is retaining full guard.

Lukot working for a triangle but Perez defends it easily.
Perez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lukot can't keep his opponent in guard - Perez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Perez wants to work for an arm triangle but Lukot is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Perez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Perez is working for a kimura here but Lukot manages to reverse the position and he's now in Perez's guard.

Lukot seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Perez looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lukot has picked Perez up and slammed him! Perez can't keep hold of the triangle and Lukot manages to pass to side control!

Perez sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Lukot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Perez is just riding it out for now. Lukot eventually gives up the hold.

Lukot is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Perez defends it well.
Perez is trying to control but can't.

Perez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lukot pulls his head out easily.
Lukot throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Lukot is looking for a kimura but Perez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lukot to get the leverage.
Lukot trying to pass the guard but Perez defending well.
Lukot seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Perez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Perez is trying to control but can't.
Lukot is just content to waste time from the top position. Perez takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Lukot slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Perez has an active guard here but Lukot has managed to pass into half guard.

Perez looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Perez wants to improve his position but Lukot is controlling well.

Lukot wants to take a breather but Perez is having none of it.

Lukot sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Perez's guard.

Perez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lukot pulls his head out easily.

Lukot is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Perez has managed to free his arm - good work.

Lukot seems to be looking for submissions.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lukot throws a strike but Perez avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Gubot Lukot showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lukot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
