The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fuma looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Thomas is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fuma gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Thomas turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Thomas has hold of Fuma's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Fuma tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Thomas cranks the arm and Fuma screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Fuma, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
