Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between SergiO Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anupo Anubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes to the cage accompanied by The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ortiz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Anubis, pushing him back against the cage.
Ortiz throws an elbow that misses.
Ortiz misses with a punch to the body.
Ortiz is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Anubis jumps guard but Ortiz stands there with Anubis around his waist. Anubis gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ortiz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ortiz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Anubis tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ortiz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anubis somewhat.
SergiO Ortiz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anupo Anubis.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anubis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ortiz defends well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that SergiO Ortiz will probably get the nod.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Anubis is defended easily by Ortiz.

It looks like Anupo Anubis has been cut.
Anubis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by SergiO Ortiz.
Anubis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ortiz is fending him off so far but Anubis persists. Nope, Ortiz circles away and we're back to standing.

Ortiz throws a left that rocks Anubis and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Ortiz dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Anubis regain composure!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ortiz in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Anubis looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Ortiz turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). SergiO Ortiz!
SergiO Ortiz took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Oh , it was really a violent fight !'.
