Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Meogeedo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wa Sa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fat Lip. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Machida blocks a head kick by Sa.
Sa misses with a two punch combination.
Machida defending well as Sa loads up on a big left hand.
Sa throws a nice looking combination but Machida bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sa lands a jab to the nose.

Sa tries to keep at a distance but Machida has taken the fight into the clinch.
Machida lands an elbow just above Sa 's eye.
Machida struggles to land a body shot inside as Sa controls his hands.
Machida connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Wa Sa has been cut.

Sa breaks from the clinch.
A bone on bone clash there as Machida blocks the leg kick.
No joy there for Sa, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Machida closes the distance and pushes Sa back into the cage.

Machida swings around for an armbar but Sa sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Machida's guard.

Sa drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Machida dives on top into guard.

Machida wants to pass the guard but Sa is keeping the position.
Machida looking to sit in guard and control but Sa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sa distracts Machida with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Sa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Machida works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Sa must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Sa throws a strike but Machida rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Sa looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Machida puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Machida is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sa is just riding it out for now. Machida eventually gives up the hold.

Machida has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Machida is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sa has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sa!

Sa lands with an uppercut that bounces Machida off the cage and back into range.

Machida drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Machida jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sa enables Machida to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Sa is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Machida has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sa is looking to defend but Machida has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sa! Machida pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sa taps out and this one is all over!
