The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnum swats away the attempt to clinch by Lewis.
Magnum jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Magnum circles away from the clinch attempt.

It looks like Lenny Lewis has been cut.
Lewis tries to clinch but Magnum moves away
and Magnum counters with a three punch combo that has Lewis backing up. Lewis nods at Magnum to acknowledge the strikes.

and Magnum counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Magnum misses with the combination.
No joy there for Magnum, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lewis wants to clinch but Magnum slips to the side
and Magnum counters with a right hand to the body.
Lewis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Magnum paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis throws a combination that misses
and Magnum counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Magnum pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lewis back to the ropes. Magnum follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Magnum staggers Lewis with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Lewis looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Magnum is victorious!

After the fight, Pete Magnum was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
