Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reggie Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Wynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warren's entrance music is God's gonna cut you down by Jonny Cash. A fine choice. Wynn is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Flower Of Scotland - Red Hot Chilli Pipers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reggie Warren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Willie Wynn!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Warren.
A good leg kick by Warren.
Warren connects with a solid leg kick.
Warren lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Warren misses with a few strikes there.
Warren slaps away a takedown attempt from Wynn, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Warren instigates a clinch.
Warren lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wynn backwards.
Warren lands with a right to the head.
Wynn will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Warren up against the cage.
Warren misses with a knee strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Warren tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Warren misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Warren as Wynn tries to tie him up.
Warren comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.


It looks like Willie Wynn has been cut.

Wynn's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Warren drives through and clinches with Wynn against the cage.
Warren will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Wynn up against the cage.

Warren tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Wynn blocks a body shot from Warren.
Warren is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Wynn is defending well.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Wynn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Warren tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Warren slips a jab and a cross from Wynn.
Warren throws a looping overhand right but Wynn ducks down to avoid it.

Warren ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Warren scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wynn doesn't seem bothered though.

Wynn misses with a hook. Warren ducked under it nicely.
Warren throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Warren throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wynn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Wynn lands a really nice looking cross but Warren seems unphased.
Warren throws a shot from downtown. Wynn moves away and avoids it.

Wynn gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Warren moves into range and connects with a jab.
A left lands for Wynn.
Warren keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wynn.
Wynn slaps away a takedown attempt from Warren, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Warren throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wynn sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Warren darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Warren is taking a breather. Wynn says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Warren connects with a nice short shot to Wynn's temple.
Wynn tries to get to full guard but Warren has control of the leg.

Wynn is refusing to be controlled, as Warren sits in half guard.

Warren works his foot free and advances to mount.
Warren breaks from Wynn's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Warren tries to control but Wynn wriggling away.
Warren lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Wynn hang on?

Warren working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Wynn is working to get back to half guard.
Wynn tries to hold on but Warren pushes him away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wynn is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wynn closes the distance and clinches up with Warren, looking for a takedown. Wynn pushes Warren against the cage but Warren circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Reggie Warren is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
