Hanrahan has chosen Amon Amarth - Death in Fire as his entrance music. Wojtek Svalbard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanrahan tries for a takedown but Svalbard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Svalbard scores with a hook.

It looks like Nick Hanrahan has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Svalbard as Hanrahan shoots in.

Svalbard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hanrahan prevents a takedown attempt there.

Hanrahan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hanrahan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Svalbard counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Svalbard tries to clinch up but Hanrahan circles away and keeps his distance.
Hanrahan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Svalbard counters by clinching up.
Svalbard jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hanrahan walks away with a smile on his face. Svalbard gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hanrahan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Svalbard paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Svalbard pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hanrahan is out of range and Svalbard settles back down.

Svalbard shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Svalbard was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Svalbard looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Hanrahan is working to get back to half guard.
A big strike lands for Svalbard! That's really hurt Hanrahan and he's turned his back - Svalbard keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Svalbard jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
