Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Horner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guilherme Fonseca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Horner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guilherme Fonseca!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horner tries a head kick but it misses.

Fonseca shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Horner is trying to defend but Fonseca finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Still in half guard, Fonseca seems content to control.
Horner tries to get to full guard but Fonseca has control of the leg.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Horner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fonseca's waist but Fonseca gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Horner off to one side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fonseca looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Horner with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
