Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasiliy Sobolev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Berlley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sobolev comes to the cage accompanied by Ya kuplu tebe dom. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berlley shoots for a takedown but Sobolev saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sobolev. Berlley does a little dance to reset his feet.

Berlley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Sobolev shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sobolev showed some decent athleticism there.
Sobolev lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sobolev connects with a nice short shot to Berlley's temple.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Berlley moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sobolev wants to control from the top but Berlley keeps moving.

Berlley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sobolev is aware though and is defending well.

Berlley has his foot on Sobolev's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sobolev works his way back into a safe position though.
Sobolev stands up over Berlley, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Sobolev pushes down on Berlley's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Sobolev working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Sobolev wants to take a breather but Berlley is having none of it.
Sobolev scores with a big shot! Berlley's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Berlley! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
