Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yevgeni Andreyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bishop Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Here Comes the Pain by Slayer. Yevgeni Andreyev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Bishop Kane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Andreyev tries to clinch up but Kane circles away and keeps his distance.

That's time! Andreyev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Andreyev thuds his right hand into Kane's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Bishop Kane has been cut.
Andreyev tries to clinch up.
Andreyev lands a nice hook to Kane's body. Kane takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Andreyev looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kane shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Andreyev sprawls well. Andreyev wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kane gets slowly back to his feet.
Kane shoots in looking for a takedown. Andreyev tries to sprawl out of it but Kane keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Andreyev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Andreyev lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kane backwards.
Kane is working for takedown but Andreyev is calmly controlling the position for now.

That has opened up Bishop Kane's cut even more.
Kane has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Andreyev is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
