Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Umut Bakteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Scheihing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scheihing on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bakteri misses with a takedown attempt - Scheihing sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bakteri fails in his attempt to clinch.
Scheihing is looking to clinch but Bakteri is avoiding it.
Bakteri looks to land a combination but Scheihing avoids it well.

Scheihing changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bakteri tries to avoid it but Scheihing manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bakteri to the ground. Bakteri escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scheihing will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Scheihing feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Scheihing manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bakteri on his heels. He'll look to pass Bakteri's guard now, I'm sure.

Well Scheihing has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
