Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Lii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beretta Sampson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lii comes to the cage accompanied by Legend of the Ocean . Luke Lii has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lii clinches.
Sampson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lii pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lii wants to take the fight to the mat but Sampson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Lii drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lii jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sampson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lii can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Sampson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lii. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Lii is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Sampson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
