Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cory Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choo Chopeng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel's entrance music is Immortal Technique-Point of no return. A fine choice. Choo Chopeng struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cory Steel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Choo Chopeng!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chopeng jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Steel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Chopeng with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Steel to score with a decent uppercut.
Chopeng throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Chopeng lands a jab to the nose.
Chopeng misses with an uppercut.
Steel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Chopeng misses with a body shot.
Chopeng slips under a jab.
Steel thuds a left hand into Chopeng's body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chopeng walks into a stiff left hand from Steel.
Steel lands with an overhand left.
Chopeng lands a two punch combo.
Steel sizes up Chopeng with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Cory Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Steel does no damage.
Steel misses with a double jab.
Steel looks to throw the jab but Chopeng is out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chopeng finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Steel's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Chopeng falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cory Steel!
Cory Steel bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
