Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nero Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilford Pure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilford Pure will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wilford Pure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pure scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Nero Zero has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Pure.
Nero Zero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zero shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pure pinned against the ropes. Pure gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pure throws a right and a left that Zero avoids nicely.
Pure misses with a series of wild punches.

Zero drives through with a takedown into Pure's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pure working a defensive guard here.

Zero drops back looking for a leg! Pure is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pure manages to kick Zero off! Zero jumps back into Pure's guard.

Zero thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Zero drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pure dives on top into guard.
Pure would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Zero looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Zero is looking for a triangle but Pure pushes his legs off easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pure missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Pure is looking to stand up but Zero won't let him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Zero is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pure defends well.
Pure postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Pure has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Zero to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pure is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Zero pulls down on the head and he's put Pure to sleep! This one is all over!
