Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vlad Dimer!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimer misses with a double jab.

Faddey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Dimer!
Faddey thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Dimer has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Faddey's lack of action.
Faddey throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Faddey wants to work for an arm triangle but Dimer is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Faddey not doing much here.
Faddey thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Faddey wants to pass to mount but Dimer is defending the position.
Faddey sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Faddey is looking for a kimura but Dimer is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Faddey to get the leverage.
Faddey not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Faddey is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Dimer as he works his way to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Faddey is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dimer preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Faddey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Faddey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Dimer is looking to stand up but Faddey isn't so interested in that idea.

Faddey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dimer is keeping the position for now.
Faddey throws a strike but Dimer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Faddey wants to control the position but Dimer says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Faddey is looking to improve his position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Faddey is breathing heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Dimer misses with the combination.

Faddey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Faddey tries to move to mount but Dimer blocks the move with his legs.
Dimer regains half guard, as Faddey was trying to land strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Isidor Faddey dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Dimer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Faddey shoots in looking for a takedown. Dimer tries to sprawl out of it but Faddey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dimer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Vlad Dimer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Faddey fails to land the takedown.

Faddey looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Faddey wants to control but Dimer is keeping him busy.

Faddey looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dimer is trying to stand up here but Faddey is controlling him well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Faddey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dimer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Faddey is working hard here to advance position.
Faddey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dimer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nice takedown defense from Dimer. No joy for Faddey on that attempt.

Dimer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Faddey.

It looks like Isidor Faddey has been cut.
Dimer throws a series of punches but Faddey avoids them all with ease.
Faddey dodges the punch combination from Dimer.
Dimer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dimer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Dimer throws a head kick but Faddey moves out of range.
Dimer throws a leg kick but Faddey checks it.
Dimer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dimer is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Faddey hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Vlad Dimer!
