Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minard comes into the arena with Walk blaring out of the sound system. Power has chosen Asa - pojat teki soppaa as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Minard takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Power tries to clinch up but Minard circles away and keeps his distance.
Power swings for the body but Minard moves out of range.
Minard throws a low kick but Power avoids it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Minard slips a jab and a cross from Power.
Power tries to clinch there but Minard circles away.
Power tests Minard's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Minard scores with a jab. Power acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Power will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Power misses with a body shot.
Power ducks under a wild hook from Minard.
Minard takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Minard attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Minard motions for Power to come forward. Minard throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Minard misses with a hook.
Minard lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Power lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Horrible takedown by Power or perhaps it was just good defense by Minard which made him look bad.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Power paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Power gets caught napping as Minard dives in and scores a takedown. Power manages to retain guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Minard trying to control but Power is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Power tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Minard scoring with punches to the head and body.
Minard postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Minard scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Minard lands a couple of elbows.
Power keeping moving, preventing Minard from controlling successfully.
Minard pushing down on Power's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Minard thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Power's head.
Minard scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Minard is trying to control. Power wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Power on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Minard slips a nice elbow through Power's hands, connecting with Power's forehead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Power moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Power can't keep his opponent in guard - Minard advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Minard uses his free foot to push down on Power's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Power.

Minard lands a heavy elbow.

It looks like Diesel Power has been cut.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Minard cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Power is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee warns Power that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Power is still in real trouble! Can Minard finish him?

That has opened up Diesel Power's cut even more.
Minard postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Power out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Minard goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
