Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zanderson Zilva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drake kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is War is my Destiny. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zilva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Drake stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Zilva.
Zilva with a nice cross.
Drake drops his hands momentarily and Zilva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Zilva forces Drake back against the cage and clinches.
Zilva's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Drake pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zilva slips a jab and a cross from Drake.
Drake swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Zilva throws a nice looking combination but Drake bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and Drake counters with a three punch combo that has Zilva backing up. Zilva nods at Drake to acknowledge the strikes.

Zilva gets tackled into the cage by Drake. Drake maintains the clinch.

Zilva is trying to drag Drake to the mat but Drake just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Zilva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Drakes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
And that's the end of the fight!
Damian Drake showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Drake has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
